Shad has worked in both VFX and Physical Production positions for over 25 years starting with eight years with Dreamworks SKG in the Live Action Physical Production Dept. then making the transition to VFX production working at Digital Domain (LA) for over 9 years followed by a move to the studio side of VFX for 20th Century Fox on Night at the Museum 2 and Percy Jackson projects. Shad then was recruited by WETA Digital as a VFX Production Manager and worked on projects such as Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes. From there he was recruited by Deluxe/Encore Atlanta as Director of Production to develop their new Atlanta facility, setting up their pipeline and building up their artist staff for all of their DC comic TV projects. His role with Base FX as Head of Production is to oversee all aspects of production planning and execution.

Aaron has worked in the film industry for over 25 years, with 19 years working in visual effects both in New Zealand and in Hollywood. Until recently he worked as a Digital Producer at Weta Digital, one of the world’s leading Visual Effects facilities, based in New Zealand. He has worked with such major directors as Peter Jackson, Steven Spielberg and James Cameron.

Marc began his career in Australia, and quickly became a global supervisor, working on some of the most challenging films in the industry, working at Asylum and Rising Sun Pictures. He’s worked both as a client supervisor and facility supervisor, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the studio.

Bingbing graduated from Shanghai Tongji University, is one of the founding member of Base FX. She built Base’s lighting and compositing pipeline, which has been engineered to deliver the highest quality results utilizing a fraction of the resources and time utilized by other VFX company pipelines. She oversees the hiring, training, technology implementation, and production quality for the company, and has built a staff of leaders to assure success in each of those areas. Bingbing received the 2016 Hong Kong Film Award for Outstanding Visual Effects for her work as VFX Supervisor on Monster Hunt.
Xu Li joined Base in 2009. With a strong background in visual arts and painting for more than 10 years. Xu Li graduated from Shandong University of Art & Design and started as a senior lighting artist and led the lighting department on our most complex projects. Currently he is CG supervisor.

Sam Zhang joined Base FX in 2011 with professional background. His role with Base FX now is to make compositing production plan for shows, set up pipeline for the comp team and train artists. He always dedicating himself optimizing compositing pipeline to help the team complete challenging projects in a more efficient way, and trying new methodology for shows, Sam has been a key member of the team at Base FX.

Wang Lei joined Base in 2010. He graduated from Hunan University of Science and Technology. He has worked on one of China’s most ground breaking VFX heavy franchises and also worked on major Hollywood blockbusters.
