Sissi Cheng currently is the Vice President of Animation at Base FX. She holds a master degree from ECNU and a bachelor degree from Fudan University. As an operational management professional, Sissi served for several multinational companies such as Intel and Autodesk during her 14 years of experience.
Sissi started her career in movie industry from 2013 and she was one of the founding members in Oriental DreamWorks (currently Pearl Studio) as well as Huayi Brother and helped these two companies well set up the animation studio from scratch. Sissi joined Base-FX in 2017 as the Head of Operations when the company started to build up the animation as a new business division in Xiamen. Her expertise successfully helped the animation studio build up a world class level team according to the needs of the company's business vision.
Ella is a senior management professional with 10+ years of experience in Production, Project Management, and Operations and Strategy Planning. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature in Shanghai Normal University.
She started her career with HP’s Experience Software Business Unit developing into a role of Operation Manager, based in China. In 2010, she joined 37 Entertainment as the production manager. In 2014, she joined Oriental DreamWorks and was further trained in DreamWorks Headquarter in LA. In 2016, she co-founded Light’s On Entertainment and acting as the COO and Line Producer before joined into base in 2018.

A postgraduate in Operations Management with over 14 years of experience working in the CG animation industry, Aditya (or commonly known as AD) has been part of producing prominent film icons like Hiccup, Toothless, Penguins, Peabody & Sherman, Alex, Marty, Puss, Poppy, Branch and Tinkerbell.
Originally from Nagpur, India, AD's education was all across the country and finally did his postgraduate diploma from Pune, India. He has always been keen on understanding the pipeline aspects of CG animation and finds this industry as the best form of gratification for all the hard work done.

Ranjan has over 18 years of experience in feature film development, pipeline development, and feature animation studio setup. He started his career as a 3D generalist in India and quickly grew himself into the role of a CG Supervisor helming Oscar nominated feature films for the DreamWorks India studio. Along with these, he has also had the opportunity of being part of several TV/DVD projects. His stint in DreamWorks India for close to a decade, gave him the unique opportunity to get involved in the projects from the pre production stage. He is at present VFX Supervisor for the Base Animation studio creatively supervising all shows / projects that the studio handles and leads the creative departments in the studio.

Igor started his career over 27 years ago in Spain working in industrial design and architectural visualization applying the latest developments in the new born computer graphics. After starting his own company, he produced two short films that were selected for “Art Futura” festival in the 1996 and 1997 editions, this opened his career internationally into US where he started working on game cinematics for NC soft, producing visuals for “Lord of the rings: the two towers”, ”Kingdom under fire” and “Guild wars”. He joined Dreamworks animation in 2004 to work in feature animated films as a lighter, and he has since produced over 18 feature animated movies and short films and over 40 episodes of high end TV working as a lead lighter, CG supervisor and VFX supervisor. During these years, Igor got several personal nominations as VFX supervisor for best FX in the Guillermo del Toro show “3Below” and Emmy nomination for Tales of Arcadia show intro.

Xu Li joined Base in 2009. With a strong background in visual arts and painting for more than 10 years. Xu Li graduated from Shandong University of Art & Design and started as a senior lighting artist and led the lighting department on our most complex projects. Currently he is CG supervisor.

Wang Lei joined Base in 2010. He graduated from Hunan University of Science and Technology. He has worked on one of China’s most ground breaking VFX heavy franchises and also worked on major Hollywood blockbusters.
